Dick Graf, is Chief Executive Officer of the Marco Consulting Group (MCG) an investment consulting firm specializing in multi-employer benefit funds. The 65-person firm is based in Chicago, IL, with an office in Boston, MA. Their clients are located across the United States. The Marco Consulting Group currently serves as the consultant to over 178 multi-employer client relationships whose combined assets exceed $95 billion. MCG is the largest provider of investment consulting services to multi-employer plans. The firm was established in January 1988.
Mr. Graf began his career in 1981 with A.G. Becker, Inc. as Vice President, Southwest Manager. In 1984 he joined Lexington Management Company as Executive Vice President, General Manager Mutual Funds, with overall responsibility for the management, accounting, marketing operations and client servicing of five no-load mutual funds. Mr. Graf joined SEI Funds Evaluation Service in 1985 as Vice President, Senior Consultant. He managed the Houston office and was a member of SEI’s Due Diligence Committee. He also established and coordinated all international consulting projects.
From 1987 to 2006 Mr. Graf was Director of Client Services for West LB Asset Management and its predecessor firms Criterion Investment Management and Nicholas/Applegate Asset Management. During this time he provided client service to the firm’s largest public and Taft-Hartley clients. He oversaw and coordinated the Executive Development Program and was instrumental in developing a Minority Investment Management Company.
Dick is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and has an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. He is a past president of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE) and was awarded AIMSE’s LOTHROP Award in 2005. Dick is currently the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Association of Graduates, United States Military Academy.
