A Virginia native, Keith worked for Traveler’s Insurance and Tenneco before joining T. Rowe Price. He first started in February 1987 but was technically a 1986 hire, having been officially brought on December 31, 1986. Our AUM when Keith joined was about $20 billion, which became $200 billion in the early 2000s, and is now >$1 trillion. We had just started branching out internationally via RPFI and had only gone public the year before, in April 1986.
We currently have offices in 16 countries serving clients in 45 countries. Every year now, we add to the company about at least as many people as we had at all when Keith started at T. Rowe. In other words, we add a 1987 T. Rowe to the 2010s T. Rowe annually!
