Message from AIMSE’s President – Christa Maxwell
Hello AIMSE Community! I’m so excited to serve as AIMSE’s President over the 2025/2026 year. This year has brought meaningful shifts to the investment landscape, driven by persistent inflation, evolving monetary policy, and the early impacts of a new political regime shaping fiscal priorities and regulatory outlooks. One constant remains: AIMSE’s unwavering commitment to its members. Since 1977, AIMSE has stood as the only professional organization dedicated solely to serving the needs of investment management sales and marketing professionals. Today, with more than 600 members, we continue to be a vital resource for connection, education, and growth.
As I begin my term as President, I want to share that our focus for the year ahead is centered on member experience. More than ever, it is essential that your involvement in AIMSE feels relevant, valuable, and accessible. Together with the Executive Committee and Board, I’ll be working to enhance transparency, improve ease of access to AIMSE resources, and elevate the overall value of your membership.
Whether through new programming, expanded educational opportunities, or clearer communication around benefits, our goal is to ensure that each member, whether new to the industry or a seasoned veteran, feels informed, supported, and engaged.
We have a very active calendar through the remainder of 2025. Please join us for our Fall Conference in Chicago, September 29th & 30th! Our conference committee is putting together a fantastic lineup of speakers that you won’t want to miss! We also have Regional Events from Baltimore to Denver, Austin to NYC. Whether you’re attending a ballpark event, a panel on AI, or a consultant spotlight, our goal is to create more meaningful ways for members to connect, learn, and engage.
To help guide our efforts, we’ll soon be sending a member survey, and I strongly encourage you to take a few minutes to share your thoughts. Your feedback is vital as we shape programming, refine benefits, and ensure AIMSE continues to deliver on what matters most to you.
Our mission is clear: to provide a worldwide forum for investment management professionals focused on sales and marketing. We emphasize education, skill development, and the agility to respond to changing industry needs. We remain committed to fostering high ethical standards and championing diversity and inclusion throughout the investment management industry.
