Message from AIMSE’s President – Claudette Grant

Reflecting on Our Past, Investing in Our Future

Dear AIMSE Friends and Colleagues:

As I step into the role of President of AIMSE, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the support, mentorship, and friendships this organization has provided throughout my career. I often say that I’ve grown up in AIMSE, and it is truly an honor to now lead an organization that has played such an important role in my professional journey. AIMSE has always stood apart because of the relationships, mentorship, and sense of community that continue long after the conferences and events end.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to focus on broadening AIMSE’s visibility and expanding our membership by strengthening partnerships with organizations such as Women Investment Professionals (WIP), Women Investment Network (WIN), and National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP). I’m also passionate about growing engagement with early-career professionals by creating stronger pathways from our regional events and sales/consultant relations boot camps into long-term AIMSE membership and involvement.

As our industry continues to evolve, AIMSE must evolve alongside it to meet the growing needs of our members. Another of my key priorities will be improving our technology and digital presence through enhancements to our website, member portal, and LinkedIn strategy to strengthen connectivity, visibility, and the overall member experience.

As we approach AIMSE’s 50th Anniversary celebration next year in Scottsdale (April 26-28), we have an incredible opportunity to reflect on the connection, community, and education that have shaped this organization for generations. I look forward to honoring the leaders and relationships that built AIMSE while helping define what’s next for our organization and our industry.
